Fire dampers in Shaftwalls
No shaft access needed: easy landing one-sided installation
Our products offer optimal protection and fire safety while ensuring quick and easy installation in shaftwalls. The entire installation can be done from the landing side. Once the shaftwall is in place, you avoid the often impossible or highly challenging shaft-side access. The result: optimal fire safety and protection combined with a quicker, cleaner installation.
Fire safety and shaftwalls
Fire dampers are essential safety products installed where ducts penetrate fire-rated shaftwalls to stop fire and smoke spread, preserve wall integrity, and protect occupants. Rf-Technologies’ CR60 (circular) and CU-LT (rectangular) fire dampers are CE/UKCA-marked, tested to EN 1366-2, and approved for shaftwalls.
Advantages of our certified fire dampers for shaftwalls
Our fire dampers save significant installation time and ensure fire safety without compromise.
• Certified & approved: CE-/UKCA-marked, tested and approved for shaftwall applications, with 60- and 90-minute fire rating.
• Landing-side only installation: Simplified installation from the landing side, no shaft access required, reducing risk.
• Fast, dry, and predictable: A clean, dry install with documented methods
• Installation flexibility & time efficiency: Clear, standardized mounting methods resulting in a smooth on-site workflow.
• Built for every project: A reliable, compliant solution for both new-build and retrofit shaft cores, without compromising performance.
Easy and quick installation of our fire dampers thanks to an installation block
The simple installation process ensures smooth and quick installation, ideal for all types of projects.

Technical Docs, BIM &
DW145 compliant installation manuals
All documentation required for the design, specification, and installation process is clearly structured and readily accessible. Comprehensive Declarations of Performance (DoPs) provide detailed information on product performance and regulatory compliance. BIM objects (Revit/IFC) facilitate accurate, clash-free coordination within digital design environments, while installation guides cover all standard applications, including drylining, masonry, and concrete shaft walls.
- DW/145-compliant installation guide for CR60
- DW/145-compliant installation guide for CU-LT
- DoPs with compliant classifications (BS EN 1366-2 / BS EN 13501-3) (CU-LT, CR60)
- BIM library with accurate geometry, parameters, and connection data
- Checklists for maintenance, inspection and handover
CE/UKCA certified
EN 1366-2 tested
Our fire dampers comply with product standard EN 15650, are tested to EN 1366-2, and classified to EN 13501-3. This delivers a CE-/UKCA-certified solution where fire resistance and integrity criteria are demonstrably met. Testing covers shaftwall configurations—including drylining as well as masonry and concrete—so you can specify with confidence for real-world risers.
